Jenna is a mom, a neighbour, and a proud Kanata resident who’s always in your corner.

Jenna Sudds has built her life right here in Kanata.

She’s raised her three daughters in this community, built her career here, and has spent years working to make Kanata the best place to live, work, and raise a family.

From day one, Jenna has been focused on what matters to our community — supporting local jobs, growing Kanata’s small businesses and tech sector, and making sure young people have real opportunities to succeed.

Jenna first moved to Kanata in 2001, starting her career as a senior economist for the federal government.

She later helped build up the local business community as the founding President of the Kanata North Business Association, bringing together tech leaders to make sure Kanata stays on the cutting edge of innovation.

She’s also been a champion for smart economic growth as the founding Executive Director of the CIO Strategy Council.

In 2018, Jenna stepped up to serve as
City Councillor for Kanata North.

As your voice at City Hall, she helped make decisions about updating Kanata’s roads, reducing morning commuter traffic, and improving the services our neighbourhoods depend on — like garbage collection, public transit, and snow plowing.

When the pandemic hit, she took on even more responsibility as Ottawa’s Deputy Mayor, working to manage the city’s COVID-19 response and recovery.

Kanata elected Jenna to serve as our Member of Parliament in 2021.

Since then, she’s delivered real results — expanding $10-a-day child care, building a National School Food Program for kids, and attracting millions of dollars in federal investments into our Technology Park.

She’s also worked hard to bring more housing to our community and keep Kanata’s neighbourhoods safe.

Now, with President Trump threatening our country with tariffs and uncertainty, we need a strong Liberal government to stand up for Canada.

Jenna Sudds and Mark Carney are the leaders we need to fight for Canadian jobs, protect Canada from President Trump’s tariff threats, and build Canada strong.
